Your Anki deck is useful once the cards exist. The problem is getting tonight's lecture notes into a form you can study before tomorrow's class. That is a different problem from wanting a better review calendar.
When choosing an Anki alternative for class notes, decide which part of the work you want to change. This comparison is published by Wizidoo and uses official feature descriptions.
First, decide whether you need to leave Anki
Anki supports self-testing and spaced reviews. It also supports shared decks, so using it doesn't require typing every card yourself. Its deck options include configurable scheduling and FSRS.
If your problem is an overwhelming review queue, changing new-card intake or settings may be more useful than moving your entire collection. If the problem is preparing cards from a new class, document-based question generation addresses a different need.
Keep those decisions separate. An alternative that saves preparation time may give you less control over future review dates.
Compare a page of notes, not a feature list
Take a clear page from a biology or history lesson. Choose a concept you understand well enough to check. In the candidate tool, inspect the question, expected answer, and explanation.
Look for omissions as well as errors. Does the question ignore a condition in the original? Does it ask for something absent from the notes? A large number of generated cards doesn't prove complete coverage.
Then try answering without the page open. If every prompt gives the answer away, the deck may feel easier than the class test will be.

Return to the lesson a few days later. Can you find the difficult question? Can you explain the answer without the app? Was the preparation work actually easier for this material?
